Water – 10 Slimming foods to eat every day

With the Christmas festivities and indulgences over, and the focus now being on “new year, new me” we thought we’d start the working year with some foods that might help dieters. This comes from a Harper’s Bazaar article. We’ve taken some pics and added a little information about each food. So fa we’ve featured avocado, which can suppress hunger and yesterday, artichokes, which may help with slimming and tasty chocolate which can make you slimmer if eaten regularly. Today, it’s plain old water, not really a food, though water could help you if you are dieting.

So how can drinking water help with slimming? It’s simple, basically drinking water makes you feel full according to the article. It has been reported that water can help dieters lose at least five per cent of their body weight.

According to the European Food Safety Authority, we should drink 1.6 to 2 litres (eight to ten glasses) of water a day. Water is the healthiest choice for quenching thirst as it contains no calories. Was there ever a more cost effective dieting aid?
